Johnny Tools is free software designed to enhance the functionality of the two most popular screen reader software, JAWS and NVDA. With expandability, flexibility, and powerful features, Johnny Tools offers the following advantages:

JAWS
(Select Google translation languages) 1. Press Control + Alt + S to select translation languages; 2. Select a Source Language. Press OK button; 3. Select a Target Language. Press OK button;
(Google Translate) 1. Select the text you want to translate into another language and press Control + Alt + T; 2. The translated text will be spoken, saved to the clipboard, and displayed on the screen momentarily; 3. Press Control + Alt + TT, and the translated text will be displayed in detail in the Results Viewer on the screen; 4. Press the Enter key on the translation result link to listen to it in the Results Viewer on the screen.
(Character Information) 1. Press Control + Alt + F to hear the Chinese/English character's phonetic pronunciation at the active cursor; 2. Press twice quickly to view the font style name, point size, strokes, cangjie, Mandarin Pinyin, foreground and background color, and character phonetic descriptions, etc., in the Virtual Viewer. Press ESC to close the Virtual Viewer;
(Character Dictionary) 1. Click the Start button, go to All Programs, click Johnny Tools, and then click Character Dictionary; 2. Once the Character Dictionary is open, you can add or modify character phonetic spellings; 3. If you make any modifications, press Ctrl + S to save and then press Alt + F4 to exit the Character Dictionary;

(Braille Instant Translation Editing) 1. Check the BRITE Help menu for guidance;
(Super Chinese character Cantonese Braille) 1. To display Cantonese Braille codes on Braille displays;
(Festival alert) 1. Upon starting, JAWS will automatically announce the selected Festival Alert message; 2. Open the Johnny Tools Settings Center to add or change Festival Alert messages; 3. If you make any changes, press Ctrl + S to save and then press Alt + F4 to exit the Johnny Tools Settings Center;
(Hong Kong weather report) 1. Press Shift + Control + Insert + F12 to announce the Hong Kong Current Weather information; 2. Press twice quickly to announce the Hong Kong Weather Forecast information;
(Select Google speech Recognition language) 1. Press Control + Alt + F5 to select the speech language; 2. Select the desired language and press the OK button;
(Google Speech Recognition1) 1. Press Control + Alt + F6 to start dictation; 2. Begin speaking in the selected language; 3. The screen reader will announce the transcription result from the clipboard;
(Google Speech Recognition2) 1. Press Control + Alt + F7 to start dictation; 2. Begin speaking in the selected language; 3. JAWS will show the transcription results in the Virtual Viewer;
(Playlist) 1. Press INSERT + SPACEBAR and then [ key to select an RTHK radio channel; 2. Once a channel is selected, press the OK button to exit; 3. Press INSERT + SPACEBAR and then ] key to select an online radio channel. Select a channel and press the OK button to exit;
(Yahoo Dictionary) 1. Select a word (in Chinese or English) and press Control + Alt + D or Shift + F1; 2. The Yahoo Dictionary results will be displayed in the Virtual Viewer. Press Escape to close the Virtual Viewer;
NVDA
(Character Information) 1. Select a character and press Control + Alt + F to announce the current character information. Pressing twice will show further character information in the browse mode;
(Playlist) 1. Press Insert + N to open the NVDA menu, go to the Johnny Tools sub-menu, and open the RTHK Playlist sub-menu or select an Online Radio Playlist sub-menu; 2. Press Enter to select a radio channel menu item;
(Hong Kong weather report) 1. Press Control + Insert + F12 to announce the Hong Kong Weather Forecast information; 2. Press Shift + Insert + F12 to announce the Hong Kong Current Weather information. Pressing twice will report the Hong Kong Weather Forecast information;
(Select Google translation languages) 1. Press Control + Alt + S to select the translation languages; 2. Select a Source Language and a Target Language, then press the OK button;
(Google translate) 1. Select the text and then press Control + Alt + T; 2. The translated text will be spoken from the clipboard momentarily; 3. Pressing twice will listen to the translated result;
(Yahoo Dictionary) 1. Select the text and press Control + Alt + D; 2. The Yahoo Dictionary results will be shown in the browse mode. Press Escape to close the browse mode;
(Today's lunar calendar lookup) 1. Press Control + Alt + F12 to show the Today's lunar calendar lookup in the browse mode. Press Escape to close the browse mode;
