Do not submit sensitive, confidential, or personal data. --- System Requirements Supported Operating Systems (64-bit) - Windows 11 - Windows 10 - Windows Server 2022 / 2019 / 2016 Required Software and Hardware - JAWS for Windows: Version 15 or later (for JAWS features) - NVDA (NonVisual Desktop Access): Latest stable version recommended (for NVDA features) - Java Runtime Environment (JRE): 1.8 or later (only if required by specific features) - Microphone: Required for speech recognition features - Internet connection: Required for online features (translation, weather, dictionary, speech recognition, AI, etc.) --- Installation & Uninstallation Installation 1. Download the installer and save it to your computer. 2. Run the installer with administrator privileges. Sign in with an administrator account, then right-click the installer and select “Run as administrator.” Press Enter on `JohnnyTools_SetupXXXX.exe` to start installation. 3. Select the installation language. 4. On the Welcome screen, select Next. 5. Accept the license agreement, then select Install. 6. Choose which screen reader(s) to install for (JAWS / NVDA). 7. When installation completes, the installer will restart the relevant screen reader(s) so changes take effect immediately. Uninstallation 1. Open the Windows Start menu → Control Panel. 2. Select Add or Remove Programs (or Programs and Features). 3. Select Johnny Tools, then choose Uninstall. 4. Follow the prompts to complete the uninstallation. --- How to Use JAWS 1) Select the Pollinations AI Models and Google Translate Languages 1. Press Ctrl+Alt+S to open the Settings dialog. 2. Select the primary Pollinations AI model → select OK; then select the secondary model → select OK. 3. In the Google Translate language dialog, select the source language → OK; then select the target language → OK. 2) Google Translate 1. Select text, then press Ctrl+Alt+T to speak the translated result from the clipboard. 2. In an edit field, press Ctrl+V to paste the translated text from the clipboard. 3. Press Ctrl+Alt+T twice quickly to display detailed results in Results Viewer. 3) Character Descriptions (Word/Character Explanation) 1. At the active cursor, press Ctrl+Alt+F to speak the phonetic pronunciation of Chinese or English text. 2. Press Ctrl+Alt+F twice quickly to open detailed information in Virtual Viewer (e.g., font style, font size, strokes, Cangjie, Mandarin Pinyin, phonetic descriptions, etc.). 3. Press Esc to close Virtual Viewer. 4) Character Dictionary (Maintain Word Explanations) 1. Open Character Dictionary to look up word explanations. 2. Add or edit the explanation content. 3. When JAWS starts, it automatically announces the festival reminder and greeting for the day. 2. You can add or edit reminders in the Johnny Tools Settings Center. 3. Press Ctrl+S to save, then press Alt+F4 to close. 9) Hong Kong Weather - Press Shift+Ctrl+Insert+F12 to speak the current Hong Kong weather. - Press Shift+Ctrl+Insert+F12 twice quickly to speak the forecast. 10) Speech Recognition (Google Speech Recognition) Set language: - Press Ctrl+Alt+F5 → select a language → OK. Speech Recognition 1 (result is copied to clipboard and spoken): 1. Press Ctrl+Alt+F6 to start. 2. After the prompt tone, speak. Processing typically completes in about 6 seconds. 3.
